School Board Update
At last week’s School Board meeting, the Board heard the quarterly reports from each of the building principals and our curriculum coordinator. That was followed by the first reading of two revised policies: ACE – Procedural Safeguards – Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Handicap/Disability and BEDG-R Access to Minutes and Public Records. These will be going for second reading and approval at the March 8th meeting.
The Board approved the nomination of our new Technology Director, Kevin Federico. Kevin will be joining us in early March. This was followed by the presentation of the monthly financial update.
As a reminder, the School Board has revised their March meeting schedule. Their regular meetings in March will be held on March 8th and March 22nd.
My Learning Plan
The professional development activity requests have been updated in My Learning Plan to include the first few questions from the Reflective Planning Form. You will see that these questions are now required fields when submitting for an activity.
When you work within My Learning Plan, you may see these questions twice – both when you submit for an activity and after you’ve completed an activity. Moving forward, know that if you’ve completed those first three questions as part of your original activity submission, you do not have to re-do them on the Final Reflection Form. We are working to make those particular questions no longer required fields on that final form. We’ll keep you posted on this (hopefully smooth) transition.
